 OWWA SCHOLARSHIP IN REGION VI UPDATE


Overview:

What is EDSP and ODSP?

Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) is a scholarship program that offers financial assistance amounting to Php 60,000.00 per school year to qualified dependents of active OWWA members who intend to enroll a 4-5 year baccalaureate course in any preferred colleges or universities.


OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP), on the other hand, is a scholarship program that offers financial assistance amounting to Php 20,000.00 per school year to qualified dependents of active OWWA members who receive a monthly salary of not more than $600.00 USD, and who shall enroll, are currently enrolled or have been enrolled in any four-year or five-year baccalaureate course or associate course in any college or university.

Please be informed that OWWA Regional Welfare Office VI will be accepting applications for EDSP and ODSP this SY 2022-2023 on August 1 - 31, 2022.

(1) Download the EDSP or ODSP application form for SY 2022-2023 through the following links:

(2) Email the clear copies of accomplished application form and complete documentary requirements to:

(3) Schedule for the submission of applications is on August 1 - 31, 2022 or until the slots have been filled in. First come first serve basis.


EDSP - 2nd to 5th year : 6 slots per province

ODSP - (a) 1st year: 13 slots per province ; (b) 2nd to 5th year: 12 slots per province


(4) Applications with incomplete documentary requirements and submitted before August 1, 2022 will not be evaluated.


Note: Walk-in application is not allowed
