BFP is in need of 5,000 personnel nationwide

Animas, Acting Antique Provincial Fire Director said.

He advised the applicants to send their requirements to the Bureau of Fire Protection Office of their respective municipalities.

From there the Provincial Bureau of Fire Protection Office will evaluate them and will be formally endorsed to the Regional Bureau of Fire Protection Office.

"Sa aton diri sa Antique nga mga pamatan-on nga gusto mag-apply ukon mangin parti sa amun organisasyon ukon uniformed organization in the BFP bilang Fire Officer 1 subong nga tuig kun wala kamu maka-apply ukon makatigayun, di kamu magkataka di kamu madulaan sang paglaum. Hopefully, may ma hatag nga daku nga quota sa Region VI kag this will be the time for you sa wala maka apply subong to process sang inyo requirements para makasulod sa bumbero bilang FO1," he said.

Application date will be posted through their Official Facebook page, BFP R6 Public Information Unit.

As of now, the province of Antique has 16 BFP Stations. The BFP stations for the municipalities of Anini-y and Caluya is now on process, added Animas.

Last March 28, 2022, the Bureau of Fire Protection- Region VI started the Simultaneous Conduct of Hiring and Selection of Fire Officer 1.

BFP- Region VI was given one hundred thirty-six (136) vacant items.

Eighty-four Antiqueño applicants undergone Physical Agility Test and only 27 of them passed and will be able to take the next step, which is the Panel Interview.

According to Animas, the qualifiers for Panel Interview will undergo the Complete Background Investigation, Psychology Evaluation, Physical/Medical Evaluation, Drug Test, and the Final Deliberation. (P.I.O NONESCO)
